The RetailReady Compliance Dashboard gives you a real-time view of how well you are meeting your retail partners' requirements. It is designed to show you the big picture at a glance and let you drill down into specifics when you need to investigate a problem.
Dashboard Overview
When you open the Compliance Dashboard, you will see four key metrics displayed prominently at the top:
| Metric | What It Measures | Good Score |
|---|---|---|
| Overall Score | A combined compliance score based on all metrics, displayed as a gauge | 85 or above |
| OTIF Score | Percentage of orders delivered on time and in full | 95% or above |
| 855 Response Rate | Percentage of POs acknowledged within the required timeframe | 98% or above |
| ASN Accuracy | Percentage of ASNs that matched what was actually received at the dock | 95% or above |
Each metric is displayed as a percentage with a color indicator: green (Excellent) means 95% or above, blue (Good) means 85-94%, amber (Needs Improvement) means 70-84%, and red (Critical) means below 70%.
Understanding Each Metric
Overall Score
The Overall Score is a combined compliance gauge that weighs all your metrics into a single number. It is displayed as a donut chart with a color-coded status (Excellent, Good, Needs Improvement, or Critical). You can select the time period to evaluate using the dropdown: 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days.
OTIF Score
This is the headline number that retailers care about most. It combines on-time delivery and in-full shipment into a single score. If your OTIF is below the retailer's threshold (usually 90-95%), you will likely see financial penalties.
855 Response Rate
This measures how quickly you acknowledge purchase orders. When a retailer sends you an 850 PO, they expect an 855 PO Acknowledgment within a specific timeframe, usually 24 to 48 hours. Your response rate is the percentage of POs you acknowledged on time. A low response rate signals to the retailer that you may not be processing their orders promptly.
ASN Accuracy
This measures how often your Advance Ship Notices match what actually shows up at the retailer's receiving dock. Discrepancies include wrong quantities, missing cartons, incorrect item numbers, or SSCC codes that do not scan. High ASN accuracy means the retailer can process your shipments quickly without manual intervention.
Reading the Dashboard
Below the headline metrics, you will see your performance broken down by retailer with progress bars for each metric. These are critical for spotting patterns:
- Upward trends mean your compliance efforts are working. Keep doing what you are doing.
- Downward trends need investigation. Something has changed — maybe a new retailer with stricter requirements, a warehouse process issue, or a carrier problem.
- Flat lines near the threshold are risky. You do not have a buffer, so any bad week could push you below the minimum.
- Seasonal dips are common during peak periods (back-to-school, holidays). Plan ahead by shipping earlier and increasing quality checks during these windows.
Per-Retailer Breakdown
The dashboard shows your compliance metrics broken down by each trading partner. This is essential because your performance can vary dramatically between retailers. You might have a 97% OTIF with one retailer and 88% with another. Each retailer card shows OTIF, On-Time, In-Full, 855 Rate, and ASN Accuracy with color-coded progress bars, plus any compliance warnings.
Use the per-retailer view to:
- Identify which retailer relationships need the most attention
- Compare your performance against each retailer's specific thresholds
- Spot retailer-specific issues (e.g., maybe one retailer's distribution center is harder to deliver to on time)
Recent Chargebacks & Recommendations
Below the per-retailer breakdown, the dashboard shows two actionable sections:
- Recent Chargebacks — A list of your most recent chargebacks with the reason, retailer, date, and amount. Click any chargeback to see its full details and decide whether to accept or dispute it.
- Recommendations — RetailReady analyzes your compliance data and suggests specific actions to improve your scores. Each recommendation includes a link to the relevant page (e.g., "View Shipments" or "View Orders") so you can take action immediately.
By reviewing these sections regularly, you can identify the issues that are costing you the most money and focus your improvement efforts where they will have the biggest impact.
Tip: Set a recurring weekly review of the compliance dashboard. Even 10 minutes every Monday morning can help you catch problems early and maintain the strong retailer relationships that keep your business growing.
